There is a lot to like about the show, and a lot to dislike. The basic premise once understood, is excellent. Where it fails are the cartoony origins of the characters, who simply don't have a real relationship to human. Who has supposed real people wearing a glitzy eye patch, with another lunatic playing with knives, a third having a dressy COVID mask, and 2 others dressing up like oversized rodents? And how is it that at a school, there are no academic subjects and what appears to be the onscreen presence of teachers for maybe 2 minutes? Then, we get to the seventh episode where the director plays with sound and makes the plot unwatchable. And yet, there is a real tension in, and excitement generated, by the ongoing activities. So, I would watch a second season, but drop it quickly if the show won't clean up its act.
